Back in her apartment, Aurora accessed the security system connected to her Malibu home. The live feeds confirmed everything she feared.
Her father was flipping burgers on the deck as if he owned the place. Her sister sprawled on the couch, leaving a trail of crumbs on the expensive rug. Her mother moved through the kitchen, scratching copper pans carelessly.
Aurora discovered how they had gained entry. Years ago, she had shared an emergency access code with her mother—strictly for emergencies. Yet her mother had kept it, using it to bypass every boundary Aurora had set.

- Activate the security alarm system in full Away mode.
