Years passed.
The twins grew into beautiful, kind, and intelligent children. The boy was strong and protective. The girl was gentle and wise beyond her years.
Rosemary never married again.
She didn’t need to.
Her house, once silent and empty, was now filled with laughter, footsteps, and love.
Every year, on the same day she found them, she would wake up at exactly 6 a.m., stand by the door… and whisper:
“Thank you.”
Because deep inside…
She knew.
That morning wasn’t an accident.
It wasn’t a trap.
It was a miracle.
