A Quiet Friday Night Takes an Unexpected Turn

According to TMZ, police were called to St. Paul’s School on Friday just before 7 PM after reports of an “unwanted guest” inside the dining hall. Reportedly, Elijah was “causing a disturbance and acting belligerently.”

Officers from the Concord Police Department responded to the scene and took him into custody. He was later booked into the Merrimack County Jail.

Elijah was charged with two counts of simple assault. He was also charged with one count each of criminal trespass, criminal threatening, and disorderly conduct.

Released… but Not for Long

Despite the seriousness of the charges, he was processed and released on personal recognizance, which means he did not have to post bail. He is expected to face arraignment at a later date.

One of the most puzzling aspects? Elijah reportedly has no clear association with the prestigious prep school, and sources said they didn’t know why he was there at all. He is primarily based in Southern California.

TMZ reported that Cher’s representative was contacted for comment, but there was no immediate response. At that point, it already seemed like a troubling situation.

Yet Another Call to Police

But just two days later, things escalated… On March 1, Elijah was arrested again…this time in Windham, New Hampshire. As stated by TMZ, he was taken into custody on Sunday for felony burglary after allegedly breaking into a home.

According to documents obtained by the outlet, a female resident hid in a closet while Elijah was inside the property. When police arrived, they reportedly found him sitting on the living room couch, smoking a cigarette. He was arrested without incident.

Although nothing appeared to be missing from the home, authorities allege he caused approximately $1,700 in damage to a door and an additional $1,000 in damage to a rug after dropping a lit cigarette on it.

This Isn’t the First Scare

The second arrest came on the heels of his release from jail just days earlier, making it two detentions in one week. And for those familiar with the family’s recent history, the developments feel especially heavy.
